THE COMMITMENT

• Full-time work for 24 months
• Hours – 8:00am to 4:08pm Monday to Friday
• You’ll earn $24.17 per hour + super

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Create fun, play-based activities that match each child’s interests and stage of development.
• Help kids enjoy the outdoors with safe and active play to boost their health and wellbeing.
• Support healthy eating by encouraging good food habits and making sure everyone’s needs are met at mealtimes.
• Run group games and activities that help children make friends and build social skills.
• Get creative with art, music, and imaginative play to spark curiosity and learning.
• Notice and record children’s progress, and share updates with families to keep them involved.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone aged 18-26* who is an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident and:

• Is enthusiastic
• Has empathy and emotional intelligence
• Is a reliable team player
• Has strong communication skills
• Is creative and adaptable

Mandatory Requirements:

To work in this role, you’ll need to provide two work or professional references, plus hold (or be willing to get) a current Working With Children Check (or relevant state equivalent) and a Police Check. Y Careers makes it easy by covering the cost and helping you every step of the way.
