About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be energetic, creative, dedicated and driven to assist children with additional needs to independently engage with their peers and learning environment. You’ll work closely with the broader team to implement tailored strategies that promote confidence, participation and a sense of belonging. Your ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to individual needs will be key to helping every child thrive.

• Inclusive of others and brings a positive attitude every day
• Interest in, passion for and/or experience in working with children with additional needs
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming, practice and pedagogy as well as the RIE approach
• Enthusiastic, committed and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Ability and motivation to build and maintain positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
• ACECQA approved Early Childhood or Allied Health qualifications i.e. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or working towards (highly regarded).

Essential Criteria:

• Holds a valid NSW Working With Children Check, or is willing to obtain one prior to commencement
• Demonstrates an understanding of contemporary child safe practices, or a willingness to acquire this knowledge
• Available to work on a permanent full-time basis, Monday to Friday, across all service operational hours, with flexibility as required
• Holds current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications as well as up-to-date Child Protection training (specifically CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk) or is willing to obtain/renew as needed.
