Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Network and Safety Officer. This position is located in their busy Parramatta office for an initial contract until 19 December 2025.

About the Position
The Network and Safety Officer will conduct traffic and safety investigations, carry out technical assessments, and provide advice on road safety and traffic management issues. The role also involves representing the agency on council traffic and development committees.

Duties

• Conduct traffic, safety and land use development investigations
• Undertake audits and technical assessments to address network issues
• Provide advice on road safety, speed zones, signposting and delineation
• Represent the agency on council traffic and development committees
• Implement and review network management procedures
• Respond to stakeholder and community enquiries

Requirements/Skills

• Tertiary qualification in traffic engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in traffic and safety investigations, audits and assessments
• Knowledge of network management policies, guidelines and procedures
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current drivers licence
• Ability to obtain and maintain a cleared Police Check
