About the Role
As a Box Office Supervisor with Latrobe City Council, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of ticketing from daily sales to reconciliation of events held at Council's creative venues with a focus on Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (GPAC), whilst providing supervision, guidance and support to all Box Office staff in the facility ensuring delivery of their specific duties.
The Box Office Supervisor you will liaise with stakeholders to establish ticketing for a variety of events across multiple venues, whilst maintaining accurate sales records, financial records, and manage the preparation, presentation, and settlement of all event box office statements.
You will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Events, Performing Arts and Entertainment Industry or relevant field are desirable.
- At least three years' Box Office experience is required, and supervisory experience in this field is desirable
- High level of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge of the management of computerized ticketing systems
- A general enthusiasm for the creative arts and basic knowledge of theatre etiquette and procedures
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is desirable.
