About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Identity & Access Governance Analyst to join a major government program focused on uplifting identity governance capabilities across a complex IT environment. You will play a key leadership role in shaping and guiding security initiatives, with a focus on architecture, process development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead identity governance initiatives and continuously improve processes to meet internal policies, compliance obligations, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate and execute user access review campaigns using identity governance tools to ensure timely completion and policy alignment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to expand IAM governance capabilities and promote a security-first culture.
• Provide reporting on IAM system activity to support audits, security reviews, and ongoing risk assessment.
• Offer strategic advice on risk mitigation and continuous improvement opportunities in the identity governance domain.
• Document and optimise business processes to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks, regulatory standards, and organisational policies.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong experience in identity governance and administration (IGA), ideally within a complex, enterprise-level or government environment.
• Proven ability to lead campaigns, conduct access reviews, and implement governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with identity governance tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, etc.) and reporting/analytics to support audits.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels, with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of relevant compliance standards and risk management practices in identity and access management (IAM).
