ACE Rental is seeking a full-time Hire Controller to join our Yatala-based team. In this role, you will coordinate our hire fleet, liaise with clients and operators, and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly across Southeast Queensland.

With over 20 years in the industry, ACE Rental provides reliable Dry Hire and Wet Hire machinery to civil works, government projects, construction sites, and trades across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich, and surrounding areas. Our modern fleet includes excavators, loaders, trucks, and specialised machinery. We pride ourselves on delivering dependable equipment and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate the availability, scheduling, and delivery of machinery

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Liaise with operators to ensure efficient job scheduling

Manage hire enquiries via phone and email

Oversee daily Dry Hire and Wet Hire operations

Arrange and track equipment servicing

Accurately process hire and off-hire documentation and invoicing

Skills and experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong customer service focus and attention to detail

Proficient in computer systems and paperwork management

Previous experience in the equipment hire industry preferred

Availability to coordinate occasional after-hours hires
