Salary: $32.89 – $36.47 hour (based on experience) plus super

Join a passionate team delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program—an initiative funded by the Australian Government to improve employment outcomes for people with disability, injury, or health conditions. As an Employment Consultant, you’ll provide tailored support to jobseekers and collaborate with employers to create employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong industry connections to identify inclusive employment opportunities

Deliver person-centered case management and employment planning

Facilitate job readiness and pre-employment training tailored to individual needs

Broker sustainable employment placements aligned with IEA objectives

Partner with employers to support inclusive recruitment and onboarding

Develop strategic relationships with employers, training providers, and community stakeholders

Provide ongoing workplace support to ensure job retention and success

About You

You’re a proactive and compassionate professional who thrives on helping others succeed. You bring a solution-focused mindset and a commitment to inclusive practices.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

One year’s experience in the employment, community or human services field.

Formal qualifications in employment services or a relevant field as related to the business of GCESS or a willingness to complete Cert 1V qualification.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools

Current Driver’s License

Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate
