Job location

Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city. Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.

About the Role:

The Learning & Development System Administrator plays a central role in the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimisation of Forensicare’s Learning Management System (LMS) Dayforce. This role ensures a seamless user experience, upholds data integrity, supports the design and delivery of learning programs, and monitors compliance with mandatory training requirements.

Duties:

  • Provide proactive, end-to-end administration of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for LMS implementation, requiring both technical and change management knowledge.
  • Manage compliance reporting, onboarding configurations, learning plans, and system user support.
  • Schedule and coordinate learning and development activities, including liaising with external providers, booking rooms, and setting up events.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop learning content to be used in face-to-face workshops and within an eLearning environment
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure data integrity within the LMS.

About You:

  • Proven experience in administering an LMS
  • Experience with managing user permissions, course creation, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative and consultative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

What you need:

  • Experience with learning design and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Canva.
  • Proficiency in LMS administration, ideally using platforms such as Dayforce.
  • Desirable experience with content management systems (CMS), e.g., WordPress or Drupal.

Forensicare (Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health) is the state-wide specialist provider of forensic mental health services in Victoria. Forensicare is the only agency in Victoria that provides clinical forensic mental health services which span all components of the mental health and criminal justice sectors – giving Forensicare a unique perspective on mental health and public safety issues. It is able to provide specialist forensic mental health services tailored to meet the specific needs of both sectors.

We provide forensic mental health services for people:

with a serious mental illness in the criminal justice system

at risk of offending who pose a risk to themselves or others

referred from the general mental health system for specialist advice, support and/or treatment.

Forensicare’s primary focus is the provision of clinical services within a recovery framework. These services include the effective assessment, treatment and management of forensic patients, prisoners and clients.
