About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide end-to-end project support with a focus on Contracts Administration, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and general administration duties. You will also work closely with, and provide guidance to, a Junior Contracts Administrator assigned to the project.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts Administration
Assist with preparation, review, and management of subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
Track and process progress claims, variations, and payment schedules.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and registers.
Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Assist in maintaining compliance with company and legislative HSE requirements.
Prepare and distribute safety documentation, toolbox talks, and incident reports.
Coordinate inductions and ensure all workers are compliant with site requirements.
Maintain HSE records, audits, and reporting for the project.
Administration & Project Support
Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and site team.
Maintain project schedules, meeting minutes, and action registers.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Act as a point of contact for project stakeholders.
Team Support
Mentor and support the Junior Contracts Administrator.
Foster a positive, collaborative working environment.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Contracts Administrator role (construction industry preferred).
Demonstrated understanding of construction contracts, project processes, and HSE obligations within construction.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities daily.
High attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and prior experience with project management software (experience with Lucidity highly regarded).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
