Paradise Lakes Care Centre is one of Queensland’s few small boutique aged care facilities.

We have 48 residents, above Award Rates, a Homelike Environment and Supportive Management.

Located in Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast, we are currently recruiting for an experienced, casual / part time Cook/Chef.

Shifts are from 0600 to 1330 and 1430 to 1800

To succeed, you will possess experience, knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Experience working in an aged/health care environment

Competent in food preparation

Capable of prioritising work within established routines, methods and procedures

Post-meal time cleaning of kitchen

Working well under limited supervision

Possess sound communication skills

Have good computer skills

Strong customer service ethos and empathy for the elderly

Adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.

Flu Vaccination is a mandatory requirement of the role.
