About the role

Gnutech Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Welder / Boiler Maker to join our team in Campbellfield, Victoria. This is a full-time position / contract that will involve working on a range of welding and fabrication projects to support our growing business.

What you'll be doing

Undertake welding and fabrication work to a high standard, ensuring all jobs meet safety and quality requirements

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders to complete projects accurately

Operate a variety of welding equipment and machinery, including MIG, TIG and stick welding

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of welding equipment

Work collaboratively with the wider production team to deliver projects on time and within budget

Identify and report any issues or defects to the appropriate supervisors

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience as a Welder / Boiler Maker, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Demonstrated expertise in MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders a must

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Adaptable and able to work effectively in a team environment

Forklift licence and experience operating other machinery an advantage
