Mason Bros Vegetable Farms located in Werribee South, is an industry leader in growing and supplying the freshest cut vegetables throughout Australia.

To support the business’s farming operations, we are currently seeking a Boilermaker / Welder to join our workshop team.

The ideal person must be flexible to respond to various needs of the business developing, modifying and maintaining farm equipment such as tractors, trailers, rotary hoes, power harrows and various implements, planter & harvester machines/equipment and general maintenance of conveyor and pump equipment.

We have a fully functional workshop & equipment and extra work hours are available to maximise your earning capacity. A competitive pay rate will be negotiated based on the value you bring to this position.

Duties Include:

• Repairing, modifying and maintaining farm equipment
• Manufacture of new farm equipment
• Use of MIG welding equipment, lathes, mill & drilling machines
• Applying safe work practices at all times

Essential skills and qualifications:

• Trade qualification boiler making / welding or substantial industry experience
• Mechanical / pneumatics knowledge or experience is highly regarded
• Current driver license and forklift license
• Creative to modify equipment as required
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to work as part of a team and independently

It is essential that you have the ability and initiative to manufacture with or without plans.
