About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the HPCA’s People and Engagement team, as the Senior HR Business Partner. This role acts as a partner to the Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) and its senior leaders and staff, in relation to human resources management, organisation change and organisational development.
The Senior HR Business Partner provides expert advice, support and delivery across the full spectrum of the People and Engagement function, and the employee cycle. Ensuring statutory compliance and interpretation and application of relevant employment awards and legislation, together with Government Sector, Public Service and organisational policies and procedures.

Clerk Grade 9/10, salary from $129,464 to $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading

About you:

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of HPCA with:
• Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating organisational development strategies
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and the legislative framework, NSW Government policies and reforms, and current government sector trends is preferred, but not essential

The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) is an executive agency of the NSW Ministry of Health. We play an important role in protecting the health and safety of the public by supporting the 15 NSW Health Professional Councils in managing complaints about NSW health practitioners.

The position is based at the HPCA Pitt Street offices, located only a short walking distance from Central Station and Belmore Park.
