About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Business Analyst to help shape the future of our HR systems and support the people at the heart of public education. Sitting within the Application Services team in ITD, you'll work alongside passionate experts supporting and improving the departments HR systems.

The Senior HR Business Analyst leads analysis for improvement initiatives across the Department's HR systems. Working closely with stakeholders from divisional business units and ITD, the role identifies opportunities to enhance system functionality, streamline processes, and deliver better user experiences. The role plays a key part in gathering and translating business needs into technical requirements, supporting change initiatives and testing, ensuring solutions are aligned with strategic goals, scalability and compliance standards. The analyst stays updated on emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

About you

  • A proactive, people-oriented BA with experience in large, complex environments delivering detailed business requirements and complex user specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and processes. Experience with SuccessFactors is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and solve problems creatively with a keen attention to detail.
  • A collaborator and trusted partner who enjoys working with both technical teams and business users
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC's validity (up to 5 years).
