We are a well-established commercial retail fit-out company looking for a Contracts Admin person to join our team. Our projects vary from office fit outs to retail and hospitality with key clients such as the MCG, Crown and Country Road.

About the role

Our contracts administrator is pivotal in the success of all of our projects and this role is a pathway to becoming a Project Manager or Estimator if desired!

This is initially a 12 month fixed contract role with high possibility to become permanent.

On the daily you will be:

Managing all project documents and updating as required

Preparing tender packages and maintaining the contractor database

Preparing reports as required

Dealing with trade suppliers, clients, transport companies, centre managers and regulatory bodies

Organising certificates of occupancy and permits and site inductions

Some general admin work to support the rest of the team

About you:

Currently studying or recent graduate of a construction qualification OR experience in shopfitting on the tools and looking for the next step off tools

Microsoft Office and Microsoft projects or demonstrated capacity to learn these platforms

The ability to read and understand drawings and architectural plans

Excellent administration, time management, prioritising, and attention to detail skills
