About the role:

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper either flexi (25-30 hours per week) or full time to join our ever expanding group of companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong proven track record as a bookkeeper and extensive experience working with Xero.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for 8 entities using Xero
• Accounts payable and supplier reconciliations
• Accounts receivable and invoicing
• Monthly general ledger reconciliation
• Monthly or quarterly superannuation reporting
• IAS preparation and lodgement
• Payroll Tax and other preparation and lodgement
• BAS preparation and lodgement
• Internal reporting management
• Understanding of GST and basic taxation laws
• EOFY accounts preparation for accountant

Work skills:

• Work independently
• Work to deadlines
• Time management

Your background:

• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
• Cert IV Bookkeeping or above
• Must be able to work independently
• Labour Hire industry experience a major plus
