OEM Business Development Manager - Premium Architectural Hardware
Salexo Consulting
Posted 7 days ago
Bring your OEM expertise to a brand where craftsmanship meets innovation.
If you know the difference between “just hardware” and the kind of precision-engineered fittings that make architects, joiners, and cabinetmakers smile… you’re our kind of person.
Our client is a venerable leader in premium architectural hardware, supplying the crème de la crème of Australia’s residential and commercial projects for over 30 years. Partnering with world-class manufacturers, they deliver design-led, meticulously crafted solutions that elevate every detail.
Now, they’re looking for a sales professional who speaks the language of OEM, high-end joinery, and cabinet making—and who understands that quality always justifies the price tag.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
This isn’t about flogging boxes. It’s about becoming the go-to technical advisor for joiners, cabinetmakers, and OEM partners who demand the very best.
Your journey starts with a hands-on learning phase (6–8 months) where you’ll:
Nurture and support a select group of premium accounts, responding to inquiries with flair and precision.
Deep dive into product training so you can talk shop at the highest technical level.
Absorb our collaborative, quality-driven culture.
Then the fun begins:
Hunt and win new OEM, joinery, and cabinet maker partnerships in the high-end space.
Consult on projects, offering tailored, technically sound solutions that impress at every stage.
Work closely with product development to ensure the market’s needs shape the next generation of premium hardware.
What You Bring:
Proven OEM channel experience—ideally in high-end joinery, cabinetry, or related sectors.
Success working with premium, higher-priced products where detail and craftsmanship matter.
Door hardware experience? That’s a big plus.
The ability to make complex technical specs sound simple, exciting, and worth every cent.
A proactive “hunter” mindset with a consultative sales style.
What’s in it for You:
Base salary: $110k–$140k + 12% super.
Vehicle allowance: $17k p.a.
Performance bonuses that reward your wins.
A prestige brand with a stellar reputation (clients love working with them).
The chance to shape a new, high-impact business stream from the ground up.
Full training and ongoing professional development.
Apply Now:
As a Registered Architect in NSW (Reg No. 11571) turned Recruitment Specialist, I bring a deep understanding of the built environment and a sharp eye for aligning top talent with truly rewarding opportunities.
This isn’t just another sales role — it’s a unique chance to represent a premium, design-led product in a market that values detail, innovation, and authenticity.
If this sounds like your kind of opportunity, I’d love to hear from you.
