We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused retail assistant to join our Poolwerx team across our Yeronga and Fairfield stores.

If you’ve got a strong background in retail or customer service, love working with people, and are keen to learn, this could be the role for you. Pool industry experience is a bonus, but not essential – we’ll provide full training.

About the Role

You’ll be the friendly face greeting customers in-store, providing advice, and making sure every visit is a positive one. Your days will include:

Assisting customers with product selection and advice

Testing and analysing pool water (training provided)

Keeping the store well-presented and stocked

Processing sales and managing POS transactions, Job bookings

Supporting our service team with customer enquiries

What We’re Looking For

Trustworthy and reliable – you’ll often work independently and be trusted with opening/closing the store

Previous retail or customer service experience (pool industry experience a plus, not required)

Great communication skills and a friendly approach

Willingness to learn technical skills and product knowledge

Comfortable with computers and point-of-sale systems

Ambition to progress into leadership and store management
