About the Role
As the PLC Advisor, you will provide expert guidance across all aspects of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and compliance. You’ll work closely with staff and management to foster a positive workplace culture, support strategic workforce planning, and ensure NoosaCare remains a safe, inclusive, and rewarding place to work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth transitions for new team members.
Support the implementation and evaluation of NoosaCare’s workforce strategy.
Promote a culture where staff feel heard, valued, and supported.
Partner with the WHS Officer to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Provide workforce analytics and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
Represent NoosaCare at career fairs and expos.
Support performance management and Fair Work conciliation processes.
Ensure compliance with Department of Home Affairs requirements for international staff.
Interpret and apply industrial instruments including awards and enterprise agreements.
Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent and targeted careers messaging.
Monitor staff performance and leave management to support rostering functions.
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (desirable).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar advisory role.
Proficiency in Office 365 and relevant HR systems.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Calm, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Key Performance Indicators
Timely and compliant delivery of PLC functions.
Accurate reporting on workforce metrics and aged care standards.
Effective recruitment, onboarding and retention processes.
VISA management and compliance.
Stakeholder engagement with TAFE, RTOs, and universities.
Resolution of workplace issues aligned with NoosaCare policies.
Compliance Requirements
Current national police check (renewed every 3 years).
Completion of mandatory training and departmental meetings.
Adherence to NoosaCare policies and the Aged Care Code of Conduct.
Successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
Provision of required certifications and references prior to commencement.
