We are seeking a dedicated Safety Advisor on a permanent full-time basis to support, guide and inspire the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety management systems.

As part of the Wellbeing, Safety & Injury Management team, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe work environment for our people by providing expert guidance, developing robust WHS processes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Drug & Alcohol Testing Program
• Support the development and review of WHS policies, procedures, and training programs
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and WHS audits
• Provide expert advice on WHS legislation and practices across the organisation
• Monitor safety data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making
• Support implementation of the Safety Department’s strategic and operational plans
• Maintain records and safety management system updates, including MYOSH and intranet content
• Manage WHS training courses on the Learning Management System
• Administrative duties associated with the Safety team and Safety Committee.

What you’ll need:

• Relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety
• Demonstrated experience in WHS advisory roles, including incident investigations and risk assessments
• Proven experience administering Drug & Alcohol Programs
• Familiarity with safety management systems (e.g. MYOSH or similar)
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
