Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Ports' advocacy efforts aligned with its strategic objectives
  • Provide strategic advice on government policy, parliamentary and budgetary processes
  • Draft compelling briefings, presentations, and reports to communicate the Port’s priorities and proposals
  • Coordinate and support strategic engagement with government agencies, Ministers’ offices, and local authorities
  • Advise on communication and influence strategies to build support across government and stakeholder groups

About You

You’ll bring:

  • Strong project management and strategic thinking abilities
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in political science, communications, law, public policy, or a related field

This is a part-time contract role with flexibility across 2–3 days per week, depending on business needs. It’s ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully to WA’s future infrastructure and economic development through strategic government engagement.
