12-month FTC | Up to $127,500 + super, depending on experience.
The role:
Are you a values-driven HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working within a complex environment undergoing transformation? Join a high-impact not-for-profit as a People & Culture Business Partner and play a central role in shaping culture, driving change, and supporting leaders across diverse teams.
This is a 12-month contract with strong potential to extend or go permanent.
What You'll Do:
You’ll work closely with leaders and staff across a broad client group—including community-facing teams, project staff, and shared services—providing practical advice and partnering through change. Responsibilities include:
Leading generalist HR activity: recruitment, onboarding, performance, offboarding
Managing ER matters including misconduct, underpayments, award queries, and restructures
Providing expert advice on HR policies, compliance, and performance frameworks
Supporting large-scale change projects including a new HRIS and payroll transformation
Partnering with stakeholders on capability uplift and engagement initiatives
Contributing to process improvements and uplifting governance practices

What We’re Looking For:
You’re a confident and curious HR professional who can build trust quickly, ask great questions, and roll up your sleeves to get things done. Ideally you’ll bring:
3–5 years of experience in a generalist or HRBP role
Employee relations and awards knowledge
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience working in complex or matrix environments
A process mindset and willingness to get involved in operational and strategic work
