About the role
You will report to the Head of People Culture and Capability as part of the People & Culture team. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources professional to partner with the business, developing a deep understanding of our operations to support managers across the full employee life cycle and enhance our people activities. An ability to work in a dynamic and growing business is essential to achieve our strategic people agenda and enhance our employee’s experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner with leaders to provide business focused, operational advice and support in implementing our people strategy and practices.
Coach, advise and support managers in people management activities and initiatives including recruitment/talent acquisition, succession planning, reward & recognition, professional development, performance management, Award/EBA interpretation, health & safety, remuneration and benefits.
Lead case management of sensitive and/or complex IR/ER issues to effective resolution in conjunction with the business.
Drive frontline training and leadership development initiatives within your area of responsibility.
Champion change and be actively involved in organisational change management requirements.
Work closely with managers on workforce planning activities to ensure improved operational efficiencies, increased productivity and employee engagement.
Assist the Head of PCC and managers in EBA negotiations and relevant communications.
Develop and review people policies, procedures and workflows.
Take ownership of assigned people projects with a focus on goals, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
Champion open communication and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Assist in managing the implementation of a company-wide HRIS
About you
You will be an experienced senior HR professional with a strong HR generalist background. You’ll bring strong business partnering capabilities and demonstrated experience managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle and employee relations matters with sound judgement, professionalism, and discretion.

Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ generalist HR experience in a similar role within a similar industry.
Excellent knowledge and experience in dealing with current employment laws and associated workplace requirements.
Excellent understanding and interpretation of Awards/EBA’s and employment contract conditions.
Strong skills in managing Employee Relations matters end-to-end.
Strong business partnering ability with a focus on developing trusted relationships to achieve influence positive business outcomes.
Demonstrated resilience, adaptability and the ability to effectively manage ambiguity in a dynamic environment with a growing team.
