We are currently looking for two Recruitment & People Services Officers to join our growing team.

Job Summary
The Recruitment & People Services Officer (R&PSO) plays a key role in supporting CAPDA’s recruitment and workforce operations. This role is primarily focused on the delivery of recruitment, engagement and retention activities. Additionally, the role will include an element of operating and maintaining HR administrative processes to provide an ‘end to end’ approach to people services and through this, a focus on maintaining operational excellence and supporting CAPDA’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Services
Lead recruitment activities to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions in alignment with business requirements
Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback
Manage job advertising, candidate communications, and engagement strategies
Source, screen, and interview candidates to match them to suitable job opportunities and clients
Conduct candidate assessments to ensure alignment with role expectations and organisational fit
Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and passive talent pipelines
Maintain candidate records, notes, and internal CRM systems with accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate interviews, manage schedules, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Oversee end-to-end administrative processes for recruitment activities
Ensure recruitment practices comply with internal policies and relevant standards
CAPDA Recruitment Business Unit
Support sourcing and placement activities across client-facing recruitment projects in collaboration with the CPO
Assist with surge recruitment efforts for panel-based engagements and tender responses
Contribute to the documentation and coordination of recruitment activities to ensure alignment with client expectations and strategic workforce goals
Retention Services
Deliver tailored aftercare and engagement support for temporary and casual personnel
Support the CPO as required to deliver tailored aftercare and engagement support for permanent personnel
Lead internal communications initiatives, including newsletters and social events
People Services Administration
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for internal staff and contractors
Maintain and update employment contracts and related documentation
Administer and maintain CAPDA people policies and related materials in CAPDA’s Quality Management System (QMS)
Prefereed Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience in recruitment or resourcing, preferably across the Defence and/or Federal Government sector
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Seek Talent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for helping people and delivering outstanding service
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desirable
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Recruitment, Human Resources or a related field
Understanding of recruitment workflows and HR processes.
