Duties:

Plan and prepare menus in consultation with the Head Chef to ensure a cohesive and appealing culinary experience.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation standards that exceed customer expectations.

Monitor food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistency and adherence to our culinary standards.

Oversee stock control, ordering, and storage of food supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.

Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and portion control to maintain consistency and quality.

Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and seasonal menu items that showcase creativity and culinary expertise.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience as a chef in a commercial kitchen environment.

Qualification in a relevant field such as culinary arts or hospitality (certificate, diploma, or degree).

Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
