Tasmanian Health Service, South

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our establishing Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Speech Pathology team at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).

In this role, you will work closely with our ENT Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist to provide specialised services to patients referred for assessment and management of voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders. • Generous professional development (PD) support, including a PD budget, paid travel to relevant interstate events, and access to clinical supervision and peer support.
  • A central location just steps from Hobart’s iconic waterfront, with easy access to cultural events, great food, and a vibrant community.

And yes – the coffee is excellent, the sourdough is artisanal, and the local pinot noir pairs beautifully with a sunset over kunanyi / Mount Wellington.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in a relevant field of Speech Pathology.
  • Competence in instrumental assessments such as VFSS, FEES, nasendoscopy, and/or videostroboscopy will be highly regarded, with support available to develop these skills if needed.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Alignment with our organisational values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (CARE).
