Our Robots in Residence program brings STEM to life in classrooms across Australia—empowering students with hands-on robotics and coding experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and capability.
About the Role
As a Program Facilitator, you’ll lead the delivery of our exciting Robots in Residence program in partner schools. You’ll work with volunteers and teachers to create engaging, inquiry-based STEM learning experiences using robotics kits and coding tools.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering weekly robotics and coding sessions onsite at schools
Training and supporting volunteers to engage effectively with students
Collaborating with teachers to create interactive, hands-on lessons
Contributing to program evaluation and reporting
About You
You’re passionate about education, STEM, and making a difference. You thrive in dynamic environments and love working with diverse communities.
You bring:
Strong facilitation and communication skills
A tertiary qualification or relevant experience in education, science, or engineering
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience working with students and volunteers
Flexibility to travel to school sites as needed
Bonus points for:
Experience with robotics or coding
Knowledge of school curricula and education policy
Experience in the non-profit sector
