About the role

As Resident Relations Assistant you will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care by assisting residents with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, mobility, and clinical care needs under the supervision of a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.

About you

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills who is able to liaise with care staff, family members, doctors and the management team.

What you'll be doing

Helping residents with various needs and support their daily living tasks.

Escort residents to internal and external medical appointments as required.

Liaise with family/person responsible/carers and other members of the health care team to facilitate the achievement of residents’ desired outcomes

Assist residents during new admissions, including immediate personal care setup and orientation.

Fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Provide supervision, and guidance to new staff or less experienced staff members.

What we're looking for

Certificate III (or IV) in Ageing Support or equivalent

5 years of previous experience in aged care

Full working rights in Australia

Current NDIS Worker's Check Clearance
