- Part time (20hrs/wk) The Aquatics team will operate a roster system of work in order to provide services seven days per week, Monday to Sunday.
- Based at Various Pool Sites
- Classified Band 5A
- $35.35/hr or $707/wk plus superannuation

How you’ll make a difference
Hepburn Shire Council is seeking a motivated and community-focused individual to lead our Outdoor Pools team across the region. As Team Leader, you will play a key role in creating safe, inclusive, and vibrant aquatic spaces that support the health and wellbeing of our community. This is more than just a leadership role – it’s an opportunity to make a lasting difference by mentoring a passionate team, ensuring high standards in safety and service, and strengthening community connection through quality aquatic experiences. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, team development, and fostering an environment that reflects the values of inclusivity, accountability, and care. Our ideal candidate is a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in aquatic facility operations and team supervision. They are passionate about community wellbeing, water safety, and delivering high-quality service. With excellent communication and problem-solving skills, they lead by example—supporting staff, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and water quality standards. They are organised, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic, outdoor environment. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, energy, and a commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and enjoyable pool experiences for the community.
