About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Traffic Control Team Leaders to join our dynamic team at Leighroys Earthworks Traffic Solutions'. As a casual Traffic Control Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic management operations at various work sites. Applicants MUST HAVE TC2 & TMI2 Traffic Tickets.

What you'll be doing

Implement and monitor compliance with traffic management plans to ensure the safety of workers and the public.

Provide on-site supervision and leadership to the traffic control crew, ensuring they are adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to address any issues or changes on site.

Continuously assess and adapt traffic control measures to respond to changing site conditions.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to traffic management activities.

Provide training and mentorship to less experienced traffic control team members.

What we're looking for

Minimum 1.5-2 years of experience in a traffic control team leading or similar supervisory role.

Thorough knowledge of traffic management principles, practices, and relevant regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on site.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high-quality results.

MUST HAVE TC2 & TMI2 Traffic Tickets.

A valid driver's licence and white card.
