We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is not suited to an administrative clerk—it requires a seasoned professional with a solid understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to financial accuracy and compliance.

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is not suited to an administrative clerk—it requires a seasoned professional with a solid understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The core duties of the Accounts Payable Officer will include, but are not limited to:
Accurately and efficiently process supplier invoices within established timeframes.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all Accounts Payable records.
Manage vehicle bailments and payouts, including daily reconciliation of bailment remittances and payments.
Maintain supplier information in the system, ensuring timely and correct setup and updates.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs in accordance with payment terms.
Assist in month-end closing activities and support financial compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in financial reporting and data analysis.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
Proven experience in an Accounts Payable position (minimum [insert years, e.g., 3+ years]).
Thorough end-to-end Accounts Payable process knowledge and operational experience.
High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise across departments and external vendors.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel; experience with [insert ERP system if applicable] is advantageous.
