Role Overview:

As the Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction process, overseeing all aspects of cost estimation for large-scale landscape construction projects. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability in all bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals for commercial and high-end residential landscape construction projects.

Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.

Coordinate take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.

Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and operations teams throughout the pre-construction process.

Lead bid strategy sessions and provide recommendations to executive leadership.

Maintain estimating database and historical cost information.

Requirements:

5+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction, site development, or related field.

Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and industry pricing.

Proficiency in estimating software

Ability to read and interpret landscape and civil construction plans.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
