About the role

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to share with you, Located in Kellyville, you will be part of a care team to support a 71 year old female with CVA. You will provide full assistance with personal cares, meal preparation, manual handling and many other duties. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Personal Cares
• Pressure Area Care and Skin Integrity Support
• Meal Preparation
• Manual Handling
• General Household Tasks & Domestic Chores
• Organisation of Stock and Ordering
• Community Participation

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or above (Relevant care certificates may also be considered)
• Specific Disability / Complex Care Experience (Minimum 2 years' experience)
• Manual handling certificate and experience (Essential)
• Current First aid and CPR
• Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check
• NDIS Orientation Module
• English Fluency - Verbal and Written

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
