Your part in our UnitingCare team
We’re seeking an Administration Officer to join our team. This full time permanent role is to support the Administrative Team with client related administration tasks pertaining to the Family Relationship Centre delivery of Family Dispute Resolution to separated and divorced families. As a key support role to the delivery of our services, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations run efficiently.
As an Administrative Officer you will:
Provide a range of general administrative activities which require initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity and which directly support the outcomes of the organisation.
Use Microsoft Office and/or other business software, assist with preparing reports and other documentation, and maintain databases and other recording information systems.
Record keeping including the collation, preparation, distribution and filling of documents.
Undertake the processing of a range of general financial functions including petty cash, payment of accounts.
Provide administrative support relating to the planning, preparation and delivery of meetings and special events including taking minutes of meetings.
Maintain a tidy and welcoming workspace and undertake other duties as and when directed within the scope and capabilities of the incumbent, including back up of reception areas.
What makes a difference for us?
Certificate IV in Business Administration, Event Management or other relevant qualification; or minimum 2 years providing Administrative support and assistance to management
Demonstrated ability to apply professional knowledge of administrative support practices and procedures and to work within the statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to UnitingCare.
Ability to be flexible and proactive in contributing to the effective functioning of a team.
A current Driver’s license is essential.
A current Blue Card or willingness to make an application for one.
Must also be willing to undergo a personal history checks under the provision of the Child Protection Act 1999 in relation to Licensing of Care Services
