We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and creatively minded person to support our Founder across personal assistance, marketing coordination, and brand projects.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, can manage competing priorities, and enjoys both the detail of admin and the creativity of marketing.
About Us
We are Importante - a small, independent business representing a curated collection of European artisan fashion and lifestyle labels in Australia and New Zealand.
We’ve been doing this for over 13 years, building long-term relationships with our makers, stockists, and customers.
Our founder, Giuliana, leads both our wholesale business and our retail store, La Casa by Importante, in Crows Nest. She’s across everything - from creative direction to trade shows, from building relationships with European suppliers to working closely with our creative team. But with growth comes complexity - and that’s where you come in.
This role is about being Giuliana’s right hand - keeping her organised, on track, and supported - while also helping to deliver marketing and brand projects across multiple labels.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Personal Assistant Support
Manage the Founder’s calendar, inbox, task list, and deadlines
Follow up on projects, conversations, and commitments
Prepare documents, meeting notes, and presentations
Coordinate travel, appointments, and event schedules
Keep calendars, folders, and the to-do list from spiralling out of control
Marketing Coordination
Coordinate marketing tasks and content across multiple brands and channels
Assist with creating and scheduling campaigns (Mailchimp / Klaviyo)
Help prep and publish social media content (Instagram and Facebook – stories, reels, posts)
Work closely with the creative team to bring campaigns and ideas to life
Support with product uploads, lookbooks, and landing pages (Shopify & WordPress)
Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints
Assist at trade shows and in-store events when required
What You Bring:
Calm, confident, and proactive - you get things done without being chased
Strong organisational and time management skills
Great memory - you remember names, details, and follow-ups
Solution-driven mindset - you think ahead, find better ways, and aren’t afraid to look outside the box
Digital fluency - quick to learn new tools and systems
A strong visual eye - you understand good design and brand presentation
Clear and comfortable writer - captions, emails, short blurbs
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving business where no two days are the same
Required Skills & Experience:
Shopify, Mailchimp, Klaviyo (or similar platforms)
Social media tools, content scheduling, and campaign execution
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
WordPress is a plus
Working on Mac
Previous experience in a creative, retail, fashion, or e-commerce environment
