We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a 12 - month contract to support the business during an acquisition and system implementation.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and robust accounting fundamentals.

This role offers work from home flexibility 2 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Ensure revenue and expenses are recognised in line with accounting standards
• Prepare journal entries, accruals prepayments, and provisions
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variances, and commentary
• Lodge tax statements - BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial advice and answer queries
• P&L analysis and presentation to senior stakeholders
• Year-end reporting and audit compliance

What We're Looking For

• Ability to start in <2 weeks
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent project delivery skills: planning, governance, communication, and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
