Reporting to the Finance Manager in a close knit team, you will play a key role in financial reporting as well as driving process improvements across transformation initiatives.

Description

• Prepare and manage financial statements and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
• Provide support for audits, including preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Provide support with FBT, GST and income tax compliance
• Monitor cash flow and assist in managing budgets effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Offer insights and recommendations for process improvements in financial operations.
• Support transformation and other ad hoc financial projects

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA certification (or working towards it)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS is advantageous
• A strong finance transformation and financial control mindset
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and willingness to both learn new processes + challenge the status quo
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with BI tools advantageous
