Job Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator to commence immediately. Based in our Southport office next to Brickworks, you play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Co-ordinate pre-construction administrative requirements

· Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and our internal team to maintain proactive action throughout the construction process

· Input and manage data with a high level of accuracy

· Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable and work orders processing

· Process supplier payments in accordance with agreed trading terms

· Process and perform bank reconciliations

· Following up on outstanding payments

· Support the team with general administrative duties as needed

Skills & Experience required:

· Previous experience in a similar accounts/admin role

· Proficiency with XERO is preferred

· Understanding of Microsoft Office software and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
