The Firm:

A local firm is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services and Tax team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm to fast track their career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients
• Preparations of IAS, BAS and FBT returns
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns, Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
• Advisory services (if senior)
• Liaison with the ATO
• Take ownership of client portfolios, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of services.
• A passion for providing exceptional client service and building long-lasting relationships.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience within an Australian accounting firm.
• CA/CPA qualifications or currently completing.
• Proven experience working across a variety of industries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
