Panache Hotel Group (PHG) is a dynamic and rapidly expanding hotel management company specializing in short-term accommodations, hotels, and independent serviced apartments. With headquarters in Western Australia, PHG currently operates five distinguished hotels in Perth and Melbourne.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hotel Chef or Cook to join our team at Peppers Docklands Hotel, Melbourne on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday).
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality meals for breakfast, lunch, or private functions
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
Oversee kitchen operations and ensure timely meal service
Manage stock, kitchen cleanliness, and food cost control
Collaborate with management to develop menus and seasonal specials
About You:
Proven experience as a chef or cook in a hotel or high-end restaurant environment
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Creativity and passion for culinary presentation
Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
Strong communication and kitchen management skills
Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to Peppers Docklands to prepare their own signature dish and showcase their culinary style during a face-to-face cooking interview with the Hotel Manager.
