Why This Role Matters

We’re looking for a senior full-stack engineer to lead integrations with medical record software. You’ll architect and build the interfaces that connect i-Scribe with EMRs, hospital systems and third-party services—work that directly improves patient care and unlocks new revenue channels. As the team grows, you’ll set technical standards, mentor engineers and own our integration roadmap.

What You’ll Do

Design, build and maintain robust integrations and APIs using TypeScript (Next.js) and Python micro-services.

Work across Windows and Linux environments to interface with on-prem hospital systems.

Collaborate with product, ML and DevOps to deliver features end-to-end on Azure and AWS.

Champion security, performance and accessibility best practices.

Leverage AI coding assistants – we leverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code with specific techniques and actively refine our approaches

Lead agile ceremonies, perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

About You – Essential

Must-Have Details

Experience
7+ years of professional development, including senior responsibility.

TypeScript / React / Next.js
Deep expertise; you’ve shipped complex web apps to production.

Python
Comfortable writing microservices, data pipelines or backend scripts.

Windows Know-How
Able to build, debug, and deploy services that interact with Windows-based hospital systems.

Cloud
Hands-on with Azure, AWS or GCP.

Integration Mindset
REST/GraphQL, webhooks, authentication flows, message queues.

Work Rights
Already eligible to work in Australia.

Soft Skills
Clear communicator, proactive, collaborative, mission-driven.

Nice-to-Have

Prior health-tech or regulated-industry experience

Prior experience integrating with medical software
