Maintenance Technician / Equipment Operator

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician / Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The permanent rostered position is a hybrid opportunity, with responsibilities primarily in equipment maintenance and secondarily in field equipment operation as required.

Duties include

• Oil & Gas field equipment maintenance and repairs (mechanical and/or electrical)
• Record maintenance information in company’s software
• Source and purchase parts as required
• Work with maintenance coordinator and the management team on preventive maintenance plans, equipment modifications, and regular equipment inspections and certifications
• Assist Equipment Operators in the daily running of the rig and subsequent on-site equipment
• General maintenance & housekeeping as required

Requirements

• Vocational mechanical or electrical trade qualifications
• Current HR driver's license, with MC highly advantageous
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting coiled tubing/cementing/fracturing equipment highly desirable
• Good communication skills, initiative and ability to work as a part of a team
• Ability to work safely with an understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
• Currently living in QLD/ Toowoomba or a willingness to relocate advantageous
