We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facility's equipment and systems.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee and perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all facility equipment, lighting, and irrigation systems.

Ensure the facility's environmental controls are functioning properly to maintain optimal growing conditions for cannabis cultivation and processing.

Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.

Coordinate and manage maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.

Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC and building structures.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize disruptions to operations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.

Collaborate with other departments to support production schedules and operational needs.

Meet ISO standards for clean rooms in the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role, preferably in a controlled environment such as a greenhouse or industrial facility.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Experience working in a cannabis cultivation or similar agricultural setting is a plus.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.

Certification in electrical or plumbing trades is an asset.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance.

Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
