We are seeking a skilled Engineering Maintenance Technician who can maintain our suite of CNC tool grinding machines, by managing maintenance schedules, performing repairs, and supporting equipment reliability across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain CNC tool grinding machines, including ANCA and Walter systems

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC and other industrial equipment

Vibration Analysis: Monitors and analyses machine vibration data to detect faults early, prevent breakdowns, and support predictive maintenance.

Plan and schedule regular maintenance activities to optimize uptime and machine longevity

Planned approaches to maintain equipment reliability, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance to reduce downtime and optimize performance. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues

Interpret and work from mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial grinding machines and associated systems

Conduct quality checks using Zoller measuring systems to ensure tool accuracy

Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation to support ISO 9001 compliance

Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet production goals

Continuously identify and implement process and equipment improvements

Requirements:

Degree or Trade certificate or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 3 years' experience in machinery maintenance

Proven experience in machine maintenance planning and scheduling

Hands-on expertise in industrial grinding machinery installation, repair, and upkeep would be beneficial

Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and machine manuals

Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication and teamwork skills

Safety-conscious with a focus on continuous improvement
