Broadwater Resort Como is a high quality 58-room apartment hotel located just outside the Perth CBD in a suburban riverside location, dedicated to providing exceptional service and a welcoming experience for our guests. Our resort is particularly popular with families, sporting groups and regional travelers, with many regularly returning guests.

We are seeking a friendly and professional Housekeeper to join our small, dedicated Housekeeping team. Working directly alongside the Hotel General Manager and the Housekeeping Manager, you will join the business during a particularly busy period and contribute to the ongoing success of our operation. While the position is offered on a Casual basis initially, there is room to progress to a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time contract if preferred.

You will be responsible for the cleaning (including vacuuming, bed making, dusting and mopping) of the guest rooms and common areas, ensuring guest rooms are stocked with bathroom/kitchen amenities, changing and re-stocking all linens and towels for each guest room, and the reporting of any maintenance issues or lost property to the respective managers.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in a housekeeping/cleaning role is preferred however not essential as full training will be provided

Basic spoken English proficiency is sufficient for the role, as long as you can follow instructions and communicate effectively with your colleagues

Strong attention to detail

The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

A professional, reliable attitude

What We Offer:

Hospitality Industry (General) Award Level 2 Rate of Pay

24+ hours per week on a flexible roster over 7 days, starting between 7am and 8am daily. The finish times will vary due to workload, however we are happy to work with you if you have external commitments including study or a second evening job.

The resort is located just a 2 minute walk from the 32 Bus route, and a 15 minute walk from the Canning Bridge train station for people commuting via public transport. Given the early start time, please ensure you can reach the resort by 7am, prior to applying for the position.
