About us
CAP FAB PTY LTD is a small Perth based family run company providing workshop based mobile mining equipment welding and fabrication maintenance to Perth based clients.
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Welder/Boilermaker to work in Hazelmere.
Normal work hours are 6am-5pm 5 days a week Monday-Friday.
Nightshift is also run onsite and maybe offered to suitable applicants.
Tasks & responsibilities
Fabrication and weld repairs of mobile mining equipment including but not limited to gouging and welding out of chassis, components, cabs, blades, buckets, handrails and platforms.
Current work skope includes predominantly CAT 793 dump truck chassis/body rebuilds, CAT D9/D10 salt spec ground up rebuilds, CAT grader and front-end loader rebuilds as well as associated miscellaneous fabrication such as transport stands and other mining industry components.
Qualifications & experience
- Australian recognized trade certificate
- MEM experience would be advantageous
- Experience working with flux core and innersheild wires is desirable
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical & Drug Screening
