About the Role
Assessments, exams, and results are all part of student life at Flinders University. We are now on the lookout for a customer-centric Student Progress and Assessment Advisor to help students achieve their academic goals by providing specialist assistance and guidance on all academic progression related matters. More specifically, you will provide administrative and operational support for all student progress, assessment, examinations, results, and prizes and awards.
In this multifaceted position, you will also:
- Interpret and analyse policies and procedures to ensure that student progression is aligned to course requirements and professional program accreditation.
- Drive positive outcomes by partnering with at-risk students to interpret policies and advise on appeal processes.
About You
With your well-developed solution-orientated approach to customer service, you will provide positive resolutions to complex and sensitive matters regarding exams, results, and academic progression. Your demonstrated experience working in a high-volume work environment and your sound ability to interpret and advise on administrative policies and procedures will allow you to be a trusted point of call for staff and students.
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in the education sector, student support services or have demonstrated transferrable skills in policy interpretation or operational support.

Student Administration Services (SAS) provides support across the student and teaching lifecycles, from enrolments to graduation. Defined by two interconnected levels of service: the College SAS teams and the University-wide SAS teams, work collaboratively to deliver simple, timely, efficient, and innovative student administration services and advice to both students and staff.
