A dynamic government organisation is seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to support ongoing projects and uplift communication capability across the business. This is a great opportunity for a communications all-rounder with strong writing, digital, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Your new role
As Communications Advisor, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to plan, develop and deliver communication strategies and materials that support key initiatives. You will assist in creating engaging content for various formats including written materials, digital channels, social media, and video. The role requires an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, contribute to internal communications, and support the development of streamlined content processes.

You will produce clear, consistent communications that align with the department's established style and effectively reach target audiences.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Government or large complex organisation is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in drafting communications plans and stakeholder materials
• Ability to simplify complex or technical information into clear messaging
• Knowledge of digital content creation and communication tools
• Basic video and/or graphic editing skills highly regarded
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• A valid NPC
