Project & Asset Delivery Manager

We are partnering with a leading education provider in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs to recruit an experienced Project & Asset Delivery Manager. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the built environment across a multi-campus portfolio by leading the planning, delivery, and optimisation of capital and maintenance projects.

Reporting to the Head of Campus Services & Infrastructure, you'll manage the infrastructure pipeline through all stages of the asset lifecycle-from feasibility, budgeting, and approvals to procurement, delivery, and operational handover. This is a high-impact role with oversight of project governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting aligned with public funding frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of capital works and infrastructure programs across campuses
  
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
  
• Manage project planning, business case development, procurement, and construction phases
  
• Oversee asset lifecycle planning, condition audits, and strategic investment decisions
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and funding obligations
  
• Develop and maintain project governance documentation, reporting tools, and dashboards
  
• Support procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes
  
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and commercial accountability in asset delivery
  

Key Selection Criteria

• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects and capital works programs, ideally in public or education sectors
  
• Deep understanding of government procurement processes, construction standards, and project governance
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial controls, and risk frameworks
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and vendors
  
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline
