Join a growing and supportive team delivering quality residential homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Estimator who enjoys working across both procurement and sales support – with a strong focus on procurement (85%) and a small involvement in sales (15%).

About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a well-rounded Estimator to strengthen our estimating team within a reputable residential construction business. You won’t be starting from scratch or managing a team – this isn’t a cadet or senior-level position – but rather a hands-on role supporting the procurement process while also assisting the sales team with pricing and costing.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential projects

Manage procurement – liaise with suppliers, request quotes, and place orders

Analyse plans, specifications, and scopes of work to support take-offs

Support the sales team with pricing for variations and custom requests

Maintain up-to-date cost databases and assist with pricing strategies

Collaborate closely with construction and estimating teams

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as an Estimator in residential construction

Strong procurement and supplier management skills

Excellent attention to detail and confidence interpreting plans

Proficiency in estimating software and Excel

A team player who’s organised, efficient, and proactive

Clear communicator, able to liaise with both internal teams and external suppliers
